DOOR TO THE PAST I am so glad I was in Egypt before the political riots and troubles broke out in 2009. There were lots of old buildings with doors that ordinary folks were going in and out of as they went about their normal lives, thinking nothing of these beautiful doors that bore the marks of wear and tear through the years. How many generations of people with all their unique humanities had walked through them....I hope they are still standing strong today albeit with a few more added scars and dents....
