Current Gallery: modern ( piece)
After coming to Japan I discovered the concept of Wabisabi. It is difficult to simplify this art form, but for me it offers a way of seeing life in lifeless forms. My work in Wabisabi takes shape mostly in black and white photographs, although I have also applied this concept to some of my color work too. This gallery contains images of color photographs, (some taken with a medium format camera, and others with a digital), as well as digital images of some of my paintings such as pastels, acrylic, oil, water colors, and mixed media and glass sculptures.
