YELLOW Is the colour of mental energy and can also be the colour of control. Yellow makes us think about how we are seen by others. It’s not wise to use true yellow as a main colour for bedrooms, especially for children, as it activates the mind and the intellect. We find it difficult to switch off and relax if there is yellow. The coolest of the warm colours, yellow brings feelings of spontaneous enjoyment of action, uninhibited expansiveness, helps us to retain information, wakes us up, and is a cheerful colour of self-assertion and confidence.
