Current Gallery: fractals ( piece)
If you are looking at this gallery, you perhaps already know something about fractals. The biggest problems with them are spirals and self-reflexivity. Only if one can get rid of them it becomes possible to explore more appealing spaces. After a lot of tweaking I found how to get rid of those pesky spirals. It is the main reason why people keep telling me that my fractals do not look like fractals. As for me I often find close paralles between my photographs and fractals. I make both of them with a very similar conceptual approach. Thus, I dare to say that although "abstract", my fractal images are not mere colored stains or geometric patterns. Each of these picture has its very own story based on a complex, sometimes hidden, yet rigorous compositional order. Some are landscapes, some are figures, other are doors open to unseen worlds... Thank you for stopping by and ... enjoy...
